Government Fees & Charges

“The current maximum permissible interest rate (MPIR) is set by the Commonwealth Government to calculate accommodation payments.”

A bond is now being referred to as a refundable accommodation deposit (RAD).

The current maximum permissible interest rate (MPIR) as of July 01, 2020 is 4.10%, used to calculate payment options.

Residents with assets below $50,500 are concessional residents and a lump sum bond isn’t required.

Combination Payment

A combination of smaller Refundable Accommodation Contribution (RAC) supplemented with a Daily Accommodation Contribution (DAC) can also be arranged.

(RAC + DAC) Payment Structure

As an example, if the RAD $350,000 you can pay a smaller RAC of $150,000, and a DAC representing the remaining $200,000 will be paid.
